We would like to thank you for visiting our site, it makes us happy that you are considering joining. But before you make a decision you should read these rules and find out if this site is for you.
We would love to welcome you to this site, it is a unique Harry Potter role play based in an alternate universe, for more information see the plot.
You must read these rules not just skin through them to find the secret sentence. Regardless of if you do or do not know the rules you will be judged and can be banned for not following them.
These rules are subject to change.
' in character
There is a two paragraph minimum post length, a paragraph being seven meaty sentences. Please have the courtesy to reply with a sizable post. If you were to post a four paragraph in depth beginning wouldn't you want at least two to three paragraphs in return?
When creating a character keep in mind that on this site any sexual orientation and only the races included in the Harry Potter series will be allowed. Please keep in mind that your character must have been born in roughly the country of England since, on this site, Hogwarts letters are delivered based on your birth place and not where you have lived since then.
In regards to the sexual orientation please remember to be tolerant, prejudices will be allowed in character but we will not allow or tolerate any bashing in accordance to sexual orientation, creed, race, religion, or any sort of belief.
When beginning a thread please post three to four meaty paragraphs, a paragraph being seven sentences or more. You can lengthen your post by including the surroundings including every sense(taste, smell, sight, touch, and hearing) We will not expect a deaf character to describe the sounds but maybe be more in depth with the other senses. Please do not just write ___ went to the mall and did this. Include their feelings and thoughts along with the surroundings.
Out of character, No swearing at each other, no racial slurs.
You are not allowed to god mod or power play on this forum. A simple explanation of this would be if you say an action of a different character that is not yours. Or possibly if you are fighting and never get hit. Every person has there faults let your character be the same. You will receive a warning for every time you are caught doing this.
I am sure you have heard the term Gary Stu/Mary Sue. Just as in most role play type forums those characters will not be allowed. If we think that your character will be one of these perfect characters we will not approve your application.
Relationships(for characters) on this board are allowed but please keep them within reason. Your character should not be dating their mortal enemy, unless there is a reason for this, and should not be dating within the first role play together. If your character is to be married, pregnant, or raped please okay it with your role play partner and the admin. If you are going to go past kissing then please place an [R] in the title of the thread, but do not be to explicit!
You must have permission from one of the administrators and the person that is involved if you plan on, injuring, killing, maiming, or getting them pregnant. If we get any complaints that you did not receive permission then we will ban you for a few days, the length of which will be determined by the action.
Swearing, sexual intercourse, drugs and alcohol, will be permitted on this forum. We will, however, not tolerate ay threads began just for your characters to have sex, give them some depth people.

Firstly and a very important rule remember to be tolerant. Bashing/Flaming any member of the board or guest will not be accepted on this board.
Please be patient with the staff of this board. Remember that we too are just ordinary people and thus prone to making mistakes. We would like that you could politely(and this does not mean badgering us until it is fixed) point out when we have been human and made a mistake. Stressing out your pleasant staff will not help you in any way and will certainly create unpleasantness in our lives.
Do not advertise outside of the proper area(the advertising board and its sub boards. This includes not sending personal messages to our members or posting links in our c box. We can and will ban your ip address if you are causing us any inconvenience.
Do not post in the in character boards or extras until your application has been approved. This means that you can request for a character or face to be reserved for you, advertise in our advertising board, or use any of the sub boards located under the chat board.
When beginning a thread please remember to include the date at the top of the first post! The date should be in the month we are set in in month and day format, the year not needing to be included but would be tolerated. A link to your thread will be placed on the time line along with who is included and what is roughly happening. In regards to this please pm an administrator when you have began a thread with a link to the thread using [.url=][./url] tags,without the periods, so that your thread may be added as soon as possible.
If an OOC comment must be included in an IC thread then please enclose it in OOC tags, ((OOC))
If you are going to be leaving the board for four days or more please post in the away board. We would not like to delete your account only to find out that you had to leave.
We do understand that you have your own lives but please do not join if you are not going to be active. It is not fun for our members to wait for your posts and we hate to have an important character missing. That being said be sure to log in and post at least once every week,. If you miss one week your name will be added to a list and a second week means that you will be deleted. We will be deleting accounts at the end of every month to keep an accurate member count.
You may have more than one character, however, you must have a new account for every character that you make on this board.
After you have joined wit whatever title you would like we would like you go into your profile and change your name to your characters name in all lowercase with a period at the end. An example of this is hermione jean granger. If you are part of the trio not from this Hogwarts we would like you to change your name to that with an asterisk and then the characters name in lowercase an example of this would be *hermione jean granger
After your application has been accepted and before you post any thread in character we would like you to fill out all extras. There is a sub board in the character registration board where you can find all of them an example of which is face claim, and script claim which we would like you to use at all times.
' chat box
Advertising in the chat box will not be tolerated! We can and will ban your IP address.
No spamming is allowed in the chat box it is there for our members and guests entertainment not for you to flame us on.
We would like that you post you name in the c box in all lowercase lettering in [ ] tabs, and please keep it only you name not any of your characters as we would like to know the real you, an example of this would be [kitty]
' images
You signature can be a maximum of 500 pixels width and 300 pixels in length(so that it will not stretch the board. No nudity or profanity will be tolerated. Your signature will be removed if it violates these rules.
Avatars must be 100x100 pixels and an image of your character.
You must have either an avatar, signature, or set so that your role play partner can describe them properly.
You must have a PB of a real person, a celebrity, if you are having trouble finding onerHollow Art is a good source.
some things are there that you can not see but a simple wave of your wand, or right click and highlight with your mouse, can make them appear.
